FAQ

What's the difference between a pool anchor and a drop anchor?

A standard (screw-type) pool anchor sits as a fixed socket in the deck. A drop anchor (pop-up type) can be pushed down to recess flush with the deck surface when the cover is removed, then popped back up to attach the cover springs — giving a cleaner deck appearance in the off-season.

Can drop anchors replace existing screw-type anchor sockets?

Yes, pop-up drop anchor assemblies are designed as direct replacements for standard screw-type anchor sockets of the same barrel dimensions.

What tool is needed to operate a drop anchor?

A standard hex key tool is used to push, turn, and release the pop-up mechanism.
