Concealed Valve & Gate Valve

Concealed Valve & Gate Valve

Brass Concealed Stop Valves

A concealed valve (also called a concealed stop cock or concealed angle valve) is installed behind the bathroom wall, with only the control knob visible on the finished wall surface — giving a clean, clutter-free look while controlling water flow to showers, basin mixers, and bath fillers.

Type: Quarter-turn and full-turn variants, single/double/triple outlet configurations
Connection: G1/2″ or G3/4″ BSP threaded inlet/outlet
Finish: Chrome plated, Nickel plated, Natural brass
Material: CW614N (CuZn39Pb3), CW617N (CuZn40Pb2)

Brass Gate Valves

A gate valve uses a sliding gate/wedge mechanism to fully open or shut off flow, offering minimal pressure loss when fully open (full bore design).

Temperature Range: -20°C to 120°C
Stem Type: Rising stem (visual open/closed indication) or non-rising stem
Body/Disc/Seal: Brass body and disc with PTFE seal
Material Specification: CW614N (CuZn39Pb3), CW617N (CuZn40Pb2), CW602N (CuZn36Pb2As), CW511L (CuZn38As), Cuphin (CuZn21Si3P), No-Lead manufacturing also available.

Applications

Residential and commercial plumbing, irrigation lines, fire protection systems, water distribution networks, and agricultural/slurry tanker fittings (larger sizes).

FAQ

What's the difference between a concealed valve and a gate valve?

Tin plating over a nickel underlayer is most common for general electrical use; silver plating is used where higher conductivity and lower contact resistance is required.

What sizes of gate valves do you manufacture?

1/2″ to 4″ (BSP or NPT threaded), with PN20/Class 150 pressure ratings.

Are lead-free options available for drinking water applications?

Yes, CW511L (lead-free brass) is available for both concealed valves and gate valves used in potable water systems.
